This was the first—and most likely the last—animated movie I saw at a movie theatre. I don’t really enjoy animated movies, and I don’t really enjoy going to the movies, but I had guests and didn’t know what to do with them. They don’t speak English well, so watching 2.5 hours of Gladiator 2 didn’t seem like a good idea. Instead, we went to see Moana 2, the story of a young « pathfinder » who must find an island to connect all the islands in the ocean and save her home.
The movie was strongly pro-immigration, pro-diversity, pro-love-thy-neighbour-or-else-you’ll-die, and pro-if-at-first-you-don’t-succeed-try-try-again. I didn’t particularly enjoy the music or much else, though there were a few funny moments. It was only 110 minutes but felt much longer. Still, I’m grateful we didn’t end up seeing Gladiator 2!

Une grève des enseignants m’a donné l’occasion d’aller voir le film avec 2 de mes petits-enfants de 5 et 8 ans. Personnellement ça ne m’a pas enthousiasmée mais ça s’est laissé regarder et ça m’a permis de passer un moment relativement ( étant donné la puissance du son au cinéma) calme un début d’après-midi pluvieux.
Je peux te dire qu’à 5 ans ça plaît beaucoup, même si ça fait quelquefois un petit peu peur et qu’à 8 ans ça manque un peu de pokemons

Huhuh, excellente idée avec les petits-enfants 🙂 Dans notre salle de cinéma il y avait des enfants de 2-3 ans et j’ai trouvé ça trop jeunes, mais bon, chacun fait comme il veut avec ses enfants (et petits-enfants) 🙂

celui de 3 ans était resté à la maison. Je n’avais pas envie de devoir l’évacuer de la salle en cas de pipi ou si il avait peur. C’est quand même assez effrayant parfois quand même les dessins animés!
