Did you know that travelers and traveling are spelled travellers and travelling in Canada? This tv show, found on Netflix, is actually a Canadian tv show but the title is spelled with the American spelling. It started in 2016
It’s definitely not the best tv show on earth but it’s not the worst either. I watched the first two seasons before the pandemic I think, and I just found out that there was a third season, so I started back at the beginning. The story tells how some people from the future can come back to the present (sent by an AI Director) to fix some current problems in the present to avoid terrible catastrophes in the future.
I am in the middle of the second season and just realized that I completely forgot about a couple of episodes that tell the story of a huge pandemic! It was funny but also a bit stressful to watch these two episodes, because what happened in them is exactly what happened at the beginning of our COVID-19 pandemic! Which in real life, happened two or three years AFTER the episodes has been filmed! I had to double-check the dates to make sure these episodes were not filmed DURING or AFTER the pandemic!
The redeeming qualities of this show are that it’s not too horrible, not too anxiety-inducing, not too violent, not too suspenseful, not too intellectual, not too annoying, not too scary, not too stupid, not too cute, not too intelligent, not too bloody, not too complicated… It is, in a sense, the perfect definition of the word « meh. » And it’s perfect to rest my brain after some non-stop extremely depressing news from work!

I guess the English-speaking Canadians are supposed to write « travellers » and « travelling » with two L because the Brits do so. Therefore, since I was taught British English at school, I presume I can answer yes to your question 🙂 .

In général, I much prefer the American spelling of things. British (and Canadian) spellings annoy me greatly!

Il fait plaisir de vous relire. Je vous suis depuis plusieurs blogs et je me doutais que vous n’aviez pas tout simplement arrêté.
Je suis moi aussi tombé sur cette série que j’ai vu il y a quelques années. Je ne savais pas pour la saison 3. Je suis d’accord avec le « meh », ça se regarde mais ce n’est pas une série qui me marque au point de la recommander.
