In Japanese, Garireo signifie évidemment Galileo. Cette petite série japonaise qui date de 2007 (with a second season in 2013) est très sympa, et je l’ai trouvée, puis perdue, puis heureusement retrouvée sur Netflix. Vous pouvez la regarder avec les sous-titres en français.
Kaoru Utsumi is a young detective (treated like crap by her police partner), and she often asks Manabu Yukawa, a university professor, for help solving mysterious cases, even when she is kicked off cases. All the cases they solve together have some kind of « impossible » aspect to them, something that only a scientist can figure out, so the show is linked to science and you learn a few fun facts while watching it–with a bit of Japanese sexism for the ride, too. Of course, Utsumi is a bit naïve about life, and Yukawa is a bit arrogant, but they definitely enjoy working together, even if they often fight about everything.
The TV series is based on the Detective Galileo (探偵ガリレオ, Tantei Garireo) book series by Keigo Higashino. I just finished reading/listening to the first book of the series, The Devotion of Suspect X and will talk to you about it next.
This Japanese series sounds very interesting. Unfortunately, I have no Netflix subscription. But if I were free, your review could make me feel like changing my mind about it 🙂.

If you had been able to watch it, I would have hoped that you liked it 🙂
