This video is THE presentation that gave me the idea to go to law school! I watched it (for work), was amazed by the content and the presenter, Abdi Aidid, did some research about him, found the program where he’s teaching at the University of Toronto, and decided to apply. I also found his book and told myself that I would NOT go to law school if I was not able to read his book.
You might not be interested in all this because it’s a presentation for public servants (employés de la fonction publique fédérale ≠ fonctionnaires) in Canada, but he is actually talking about the Canadian contexts and the US context AND the European context. And it’s fascinating (I automatically started the video after all the introductory blah blah). The guy is so smart (and he talks super fast!!), and after waiting impatiently for many months, I finally have him as a prof (in a course on privacy and data governance), which is a dream come true!!
So now, I can blame him every time I regret having started this (crazy, insane, exhausting) law program, haha!
